Kurt Astor (Performer)

Kurt plays old time country and western music, a little gospel, and some rowdy music that stays family friendly. If Johnny Cash's baritone and old Hank Williams tunes are what you're looking for, Kurt's your man.

Vicente Chavez (Performer)

For over 25 years Vicente has been performing and teaching flamenco guitar. Although a Colorado native, Vicente recieved his training in Jerez, Spain. There he honed his craft under many noted masters of flamenco where he learned how perform solo and how to accompany singers, and dancers. Vicente has performed in Spain, Germany, Canada, the Philippines, Thailand, and throughout the USA.

Greg Schochet (Performer/Instructor)

Greg Schochet is a full-time performer, teacher, and producer based on the Front Range of Colorado, fluent in all manner of acoustic and electric styles specializing in bluegrass, western swing, country, and Americana, and the leader of the 5-piece band Little America. A veteran of many teaching camps (including Colorado Roots Camp), Greg has also been a guitar and mandolin teacher at Woodsongs Music, Colorado’s premier acoustic music store, for some 20 years, and is now teaching in Colorado Springs.

I have been performing for over 40 years as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter and moved to the Springs in late 2023 from Houston. I played in an acoustic duo and in various classic rock, country, and Americana bands in and around the Houston area for over 20 years. I play acoustic fingerstyle, electric, slide, resonator, and the 5-string banjo. My musical influences include BB King, Eric Clapton, Doc Watson, Duane Allman, John Hyatt, and Robert Johnson.
